Description: It became fashionable in the early 20th Century to produce books featuring women and children as flowers. The most famous of these must be the Flower Fairies series but there were lots more books of this nature, most of them very nice although some were a little odd (check out the 'Bird Children' book if you get a chance, very strange!)nn This set features wonderful images which were first published in a book simply entitled 'A Flower Book' by Eden Coybee which was from the Dumpy Books for Children series.nn A little known artist called Nellie Benson produced these stunning images in around 1902.nn This self-contained set includes 40 great A4 size sheets featuring motifs, pyramage, large pyramage and backgrounds to download and print as many times as you like (see Help section for full terms of usage).nn Each pyramage sheet also includes greetings to enable you to make a complete co-ordinating card.nn The pyramage pieces can easily be cut out with a craft knife and ruler and stacked using sticky pads or silicone glue to create a fantastic 3-dimensional 'pyramid' shape.nn The pyramage sheets are best printed onto a good-quality white lightweight card (up to 225gsm) so that your completed stack doesn't end up too thick!   Description: If you've seen our Flower Children sets on Printable Heaven, you'll know that the Victorians were fond of depicting flowers as people; there were a number of books published that feature children and ladies in floral form (some better than others!). This set of images has been taken from one of the best of them - Wild Flower Children by Elizabeth Gordon, illustrated by Janet Laura Scott. This book was perhaps a little later than some of its Victorian predecessors, being from around 1918, so the pictures are nicer and more 'modern' than some of the other books around.
